Anyone wanna learn to use YVD!?

I am providing a link for anyone wanting to learn where, and how to download and use YVD (yugioh virtual desktop). Its a great way to deck test and play people all over the world for free. you may connect 3 different ways to your opponent on YVD. by normal duel (exchanging ip adresses), server duel (exchanging nicks and one person acts as the host and the other is the client, this is the common and simplest way to connect), and relay duel in which someone acts as a host for 2 people to play each other, but this is only used in cases where you may not have proper router ports open to duel others, this one is rare. anyway i hope this helps out.

once youve completed the whole registration process and installed all you need to run YVD then when you open up the program there should be a chat option. that is where you meet people and can connect to them.

i registered my name on the chat thing but when i gave it to somone to duel it said invalid or something like that
what do i do?

you have to register your nickname into the chat system by typing /ns (email) (password)
noone else can see this

then when youre registered you can actually scroll down to the bottom of the page. you will see this message:


note: The Mibbit client has been replaced for performance reasons. If you still want to use this client, click here.

um...obviously click there..

then type in your name and password
and you can find people to duel
make sure you have downloaded the YVD(yugioh virtual desktop) 9.0 program to your computer.
then make your deck. any extra deck cards go to your deck not side deck as youre only given the options of a deck and side deck in deck construction. they will automatically go to your extra deck.
when youre done click on duel at the bottom right.
find an opponent in the chat room.
one of you will host the other will be the client.
if your both one thing its not gonna work so ask your opponent if they wanna host or not.
when you click "duel" you will go to a page with a dueling spread.
in the far left middle section it will say "listen" and "connect".
push connect and where it says "enter IP" type the name your opponent has given you.
this is the name they registered under. you give them the same.
and from there you duel.
keep in mind the program doesnt do anything but host the cards for you.
so any effects you have to apply to the game yourself.
ctrl + s shuffles the deck
ctrl + d draws a card
ctrl + t discards the top card of your deck

by going to the "gameplay option at the top it will give you command options for your hand, deck, graveyard and removed from play.

you can also right click cards on the field you own to see the options given.
ex. to attack you right click the monster card, go to attack and select your target.
