k well i was playin at town center on saturday and i special gorz but he plays gb war chariot wut happens?

I think the chariot negates Gorz's effect to special summon itself when you take damage, destroying it and sending it to the graveyard.

i thought only solemn can cuz it negates the summoning and its during the damage step so i thought you cant do chariot during the damage step idk

gorz gets killed by chariot because it can b activated during damage step and and effect is happening of summoning token or something, divine warth can also kill gorz

You CAN'T solemn Gorz because it is in the damage step.

actually gorz is special summoned by it's own effect. Therefore, solemn can't negate it since gorz was specialed by monster effect.

You CAN chariot gorz, because his effect activates. Gorz dies right after. Rest in Peace gorz.

You can't solemn gorz because it starts a chain (same thing as Van Dolgyon *spelling?*).

Yyou can solemn in the damage step. Example: Player A attacks Player B's monster. Player A plays Shrink in the damage step, Player B plays solemn to negate it.

Most counter traps can be activated during the damage step, but they do have limitations..like Solemn Judgment.

Divivne wrath and GB Chariot work on Gorz because his effect is activating but you cant solemn him because the summoning of Gorz is similar to mystic tomato, giant rat, etc...otherwise you could opression Gorz - I wish.

well i personal agree with josh"lightsworn guy"
he said"when the attack happens the battle damage i would take is placed at the set value, then gorz is summoned then the damage goes through so nothing can be chained"
but there is no official ruling so i guess ny thing goes=P

monster effects are spell speed 2 and counter traps are spell speed 3. spell speed 3 is the fastest and can be chained to anything as long as the counter trap pertains to monster effects in the case of gorz. ex. gb chariots and divine wrath.
