ive been trying to help people here for years, and im tired of people on HERE acting like elitists when theyre far from it. also, i guess the sterotype of magic players looking down on yugioh players also stands in hawaii
not really. play like 20 games with someone like dale and i guarantee you wont win a single time. not to mention the decks here are way ahead too, so that gives you like a 0% chance of winning a game vs someone like him from the mainland. im just done trying to help you guys, scott daniel etc you guys can all myspace/fb/aim me i still got your backs on mainland stuff
Brandon said:dude anyone can beat anyone it just depends on the decks they use and the hand they get
Michael said:lol to be honest the only good players in hawaii are dexter, albert, scott, daniel, josh, nolan, juan, jordan, kenny, mario, ceevee, the kaui crew, and a couple others. believe it or not the kaui crew and dexter are years ahead of most of the players in honolulu. if youre not one of the people i listed then i say the best you could ever do at a jump is 3-6, and thats after going 0-4 or 0-5 and then beating complete scrubs. and thats being generous. hate on me or ban me if you want, idc anymore really. keep thinking youre good for winning a local. first off its a LOCAL, where alot of the good players dont even play. and second, its hawaii, the meta there is miles behind from the mainland. when teddy comes back hell tell you all how hard it is here, and thats in kansas or wherever he is. im not going to pretend my meta is hard either, its actually relatively easy unless i travel to chicago. but still, the meta here is ten times harder than in hawaii. most of you suck, and im just not gonna try help you anymore. if youre one of the people i listed, good luck with everything, you guys have mad potential. hope to see you at la

wow you are pretty good at yugioh.. you should put that on your facebook or myspace, just so everyone knows. you know, "I TOPPED HAWAII SJC AND GOT A FEATURE MATCH IM AMAZING."
Whoa, MR. Michael-"hate on me or ban me if you want, idc anymore really."-cool-guy-you... First off, I don't care if you respect or hate me as a player, but you seriously have no idea how to be a humble. So, let's break down this argument in pieces.
1. You want to talk about making a living out of YuGiOh? How about we talk about YuGiOh and life... How often have you played YuGiOh in the past year? Everyday? Now, ask me the same question... Maybe 8 times in the past I don't even remember anymore, but if I did it was only to play and support my friend's upcoming tournament or to session with some of my homies who do play. You, on the other hand, live for it. So, to do things mathematically You play X amount of hours, I use your X amount of hours to do something productive: Draw, DJ, Study, Work, Ride my Fixie, whateveeeeeeeeer. Basically, I don't dedicate so much into YuGiOh.
2. The DIFFERENCE between me hating on you, and you hating on me is: you hate me 'cause I'm critiquing you as a person, while you're critiquing me as a YuGiOh player. And I know this is not the forum for critiquing personality, but you're so caught up in it that you would put judge a person solely on skill. Let's take a poll. To everyone reading this, would you rather have someone judge you as a person or choices you've made in YuGiOh Deck building?
3. As for SJC matters. I'll admit, I bragged about my Top at SJC Hawaii, but I never used it to bring someone's self-esteem down. Oh not to mention, you say Hawaii players suck? Well, where were you in Top 16 in Hawaii? WAIT, DON'T ANSWER THAT, IT'S OBVIOUS. As for my feature match, you can spot at least 5 misplays? Great. Now you and me can both agree that I made at 5 misplays during that feature match.
4. I don't claim to be good, well at least not as much as you claim to be good. So in response to all this claiming, I will say you like to over emphasize little details. I've read some of your posts and I've noticed you always add things like, "This deck will win SJC" or "Me and SJChamp did this, we played for x amount of hours". In other words, you're a show off. I didn't say anything about it before, because I knew if things would get ugly. This for example, is getting ugly. With that... Get your ego checked. I don't care if you tell me, "You will lose 20 consecutive matches to my homies from the mainland, THE LAND OF UNSTOPPABLE YUGIOH PLAYERS". I'm sure it's true and your friends will get a major ego boost from you saying that. But, someone doing it in 3rd person is just annoying.
I really didn't want to respond to all this nonsense, but you mocking the fact I topped a SJC and got a feature, was quite immature, and I should have expected that from you. When I responded to your message, I wasn't arguing because you didn't mention my name as Hawaii's best, I was pissed at how you're acting like a jerk to me and everyone in Hawaii. I'm cool with opinions, but you don't have to say "most of you suck, and im just not gonna try help you anymore. if youre one of the people i listed, good luck with everything, you guys have mad potential. hope to see you at la". That was uncalled for, but whatever.
Have fun playing YuGiOh.
