Honestly, the deck may seem all rainbows and butterflies because of how often people with it win here (Albert/Matt/Scott) but I think the cliticization of the deck should be reserved for the veterans of the deck type. For the record, I think Lightsworns are an awesome and fun deck to play and I am glad more people will have access to it.

damn i forgot i even made this thread lol. so basically blackwings shit on everything except aurkus and celestia/jd blows. as for game 2 when the 3 malevolent catastrophes come in ls just rape blackwings even harder. dad is really, really good and i can't believe im saying this but it can't compete. zombiedraindad was indeed the best deck until rodrigo togores won the jump with bws. now drains worst matchup is back and you don't even have 3 solemns to help counter it. you can't setup with stardust cause of kulat and you can't setup colossal because of icarus. the ONLY dad build that can maybe compete is vayu/necro burial, zombienecrodad(dale bellido topped regionals this past weekend with it), or perfect circle zombie. both phoenix blast and divine wrath are insane right now so that puts zombies on the spot with their amazing discard engine.

i really hate the game as it is, just as much as last format. there can't be 5 different top decks because you can't counter them all and in theory if you don't play ls you can't consistently go x-2 or at jumps. and a cat (albert?) i completely agree. i don't live by people that play and only test with pros but when i was in hawaii i played so many people who couldn't play ls or bw. winning vs ls was as simple as dropping a plasma and grinding out the win from there. in my opinion the only skills you can have in this game anymore are metagame reads, verbal and nonverbal bluffing, reading, and knowing what to do in situations that aren't easy to play out of. all the skill factors from 06/07 and before are gone.
