ok here is what i think is the best format for team dueling...
alot of it is exactly like how da-planet held there team matches this weekend at sneak peak.
- x vs.x is good as long as there is an odd number of pairings like 3vs3, 5vs5, etc. i think for this showdown 7 vs 7 is good. as for the remaining players they just have to wait
- 5 total rounds where each round counts for 1 point for your team.
- flip a coin to choose first pairing, winning team makes first pairing, then other team makes second pairing, so on til round is filled (remaining extra players sit-out round).
- team with total team wins (ex. 4-1, 3-2, 5-0) for that round wins
-losing team for that round makes first pairing for the next round.
-No pairings can be duplicated throughout entire showdown.
-first team to win 3 rounds is deemed winner of the showdown
this is probably the best way to do this.
Again i am very up for doing coverage on this so let me know if you want me to, looks like a great opportunity to improve your guy's game as well as promote team.
Have fun guys!
Update/ plus, is everyone good with this (Please check)
-X vs X
-Roll Dice for pairings (20 sided if needed)
-Swiss Rounds/ or Team Standard (5 rounds/ first to three round wins, wins)
~Swiss Rounds cut to the top 2 finishers of both teams, example TW #1 vs TW #2 and TF #1 vs TF #2 and then the winners of each match against each other for the title of best team. So basically The two highest placing member from both teams go against each other and the winners play for the spot of best team.
*Ask if questions about structure*
