With Yu-Gi-Oh! Regionals just around the corner, and especially with the new COSSY system being implemented. Here are a few tips for players to ensure that the registration process goes smoothly.
Other things you can do to help this event go smoothly is come prepared with the appropriate items.

I really have to emphasize about registering the ID cards. If at all possible, do so BEFORE the day of the event to get the ID cards registered. Sure, it may take a minute or two to get the ID in the system, hand you the card and barcode stickers (DO NOT EVER LOSE YOUR BARCODES. You will NOT get a replacement for them), but when 40+ people are trying to get their IDs, the time can add up.
of coursecan we use gold series 2 cards in our deck for regionals
I had photos of the ID card in my Boston blog. >_>wat is da ID card for is it a new ude card or something?
wat if we dont have one on the day of the event can we still enter?

Anways, KDE is using a system for their YGO OP program, called COSSY. Here what the ID cards look like:
You can register for a KDE ID card on the day of regionals, but I can't stress enough how much more smoothly (and faster) things will run if you register for a KDE ID before the day of regionals. It will definitely make things easier (and less stressful) for da-planet staff. Trust me, I have a good idea of the length of the process of registering and receiving a KDE ID/card. I don't think many players would be happy if 20 or so players showed up like 5 minutes before signups close and don't have a KDE ID registered, therefore delaying the start of the event for lord knows how long.
And regionals is on June 20. The events calendar is your friend. =P
duh you can. but it isnt the smart thing to do
