What It Is?

I'm Ali'i.
I've been floating around online recently and found this little shindig after typing in "yugioh hawaii" and almost crapped myself after finding out this place is right down the street from my dorm.

I'm stuck at UH Manoa. Fell out of the game in high school but felt like picking it back up again. So I don't have a deck. How's that?! Confused with the metagame but slowly picking things back up.

I've been buying randomly from the store and off the shelf trying to make a deck from scratch. I won't ask you for donations but will be happy to buy some spare cards off your hands.

A little about myself: I rock a 360, my girlfriend shook her head at me when I told her I wanted to play YGO again, my bike just got stolen while I was in class so I walk to planet, Curry House FTW, and you best think twice about mugging me because I got weapons all up in mah hair.

All in all I just wanna have fun and get back into this hobby despite the embarassment of my girlfriend. Any friendly advice getting back in would be appreciated.

sure its expensive, but its hella worth it, since now, LS is gonna pwn since dark just got limited....not downsizing the power of dark, just saying its hard to play with most of its key cards limited/semi limited; ▶ Reply to This

Permalink Reply by rnz-rlz! on March 13, 2009 at 6:30pm: dont waste ur money just yet, buy the cheaper decks so u remember how to play and get new stratagies...try an archtype that intrest u...a few good cheap decks are: D.D.(its got its own structure deck), zombie mill(idk i think its cool), monarch(u can combine it with d.d.and macro cosmos to make a macro monarch deck,very effective), or plants(theyre getting better)
