Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Forbidden/Limited List effective March 1

Looks like Konami has updated their TCG web site to update the new Forbidden/Banned list to be effective as of March 1:

Here are the new changes-

BANNED:
(No Changes)

LIMITED:
Card of Safe Return
Chaos Sorcerer
Dark Armed Dragon
Emergency Teleport
Gladiator Beast Bestiari
Goyo Guardian
Mezuki
Plaguespreader Zombie
Reinforcement of the Army

SEMI-LIMITED:
Allure of Darkness
Destiny Draw
Destiny Hero - Malicious
Goblin Zombie
Gold Sarcophagus
Green Baboon, Defender of the Forest
Mind Crush
Raiza the Storm Monarch
Ultimate Offering

NO LONGER LIMITED:
Book of Moon
Manticore of Darkness
Nobleman of Crossout
Phantom of Chaos
Twin-Headed Behemoth

Furthermore, there are new ruling on Green Baboon:
-Effect cannot be activated in damage step
-Cannot summon 2 at the same time

To clear up on how 3 Twin-Headed Behemoths will work, here's the new ruling:
-The effect of "Twin-Headed Behemoth" can only be used ONCE throughout the entirety of the duel. Even if your deck includes three copies of the card, between those three copies the effect can only be used once, not once each.

its a interesting ban list. no doubt that lightsworn is going to be a force to reckon with even more now considering that they only lost plaguespreader. dark arm got newtered (sp) and gb's felt a little punch. but i can still see gb's doing super good in the new format as well just have to protect the bestari. =S

little city took a lil blow to the chin with the reinforcments going to 1 but nothing really to fret about. replace those guys with e - emergency call and your all g. =]

um....yeah hopefully dark arm has a out from this corner otherwise in my humble opinion itll be the last we see of it. T-T *sadness*

but yeah this is going to provide alot of new deck types popping up. =]

It's official. We essentially got the same list as Japan (sans Brionac). The problem is, with no official OP, it'll be up to the tournament organizers whether or not to enforce this list.; ▶ Reply to This
