Tonight's Magic: the Gatheing MEGA Box Sealed event is underway, and the turnout here is monstrous! A whopping 47 players came out tonight for a chance at winning an entire box of boosters, be it the one awarded to the first place finisher or the one awarded to one player selected at random at the end of the event. The number of players here dwarfs the turnout of recent major events like the PTQ's or Regionals. Tonight's event is, if I may borrow a phrase from an old friend, "soooo BIG!"

For the prizes, the winning box was split up amongst our undefeated players (players with 9 match points). So Dean Muramoto, Terry Wenger, Joey Yamaji, Shawn Kimura, Ryan Mori, and Keoni Davey all walked away with six packs each. The Mystery Envelope was also divided evenly.

As for the randomly awarded box, we also divided it up into 6 prizes of 6 packs. We also added an additional box divided into 12 prizes of 3 packs. Each prize distribution was done separately, so the winners in one distribution could win prizes in another distribution.
