Opening weekend Yu-Gi-Oh! and Magic Tournaments. Tournaments for a $1.00

Hey everyone! Progress on the store is going pretty well, and it looks like we're on schedule. To celebrate our grand opening at our new location, we are going to offer some events at a special price!

First off, on Thursday, at our Yu-Gi-Oh! Hobby League, we will be giving away some 5D's tins at the end of the event. We hope to see you guys at our very first tournament!

Our Friday tournaments will go as scheduled and run the same as they always have been.

Saturday and Sunday, we will be opening our doors at 10 am for the following events: We are going crazy this weekend with $1.00 tournaments on BOTH days this weekend.

11 am - Yu-Gi-Oh! Win-a-Box Tournament, $1 entry
Advanced Constructed tournament with swiss rounds based on attendance.
At the end of the event, 1st place will get a booster box of Ancient Prophecy and free entry into the next 2 Yu-Gi-Oh! Win-a-Box Tournaments, however, they will not be a part of the normal prize distribution for those two events.* T-shirts and other prizes may be added to the distribution.

12 Noon - Magic 2010 Booster Draft 8-man Flights, $1 entry
DCI Sanctioned booster draft with swiss rounds based on attendance.
At the end of the event, players will, in a similiar fashion to Rochester drafting, draft all the rares and foils from everyone's card pools as prizes (commons and uncommons are yours to keep). Any player who wishes to drop from the event must turn in all rares and foils that they drafted. If a player leaves the tournament without turning in the appropriate cards, they will receive an Unsporting Conduct — Theft of Tournament Material penalty.


*This is a new rule that will apply to ALL future Yu-Gi-Oh! Win-a-Box events unless otherwise specified. We want to give more players a chance to win the top prize as this is a casual tournament.

There will be a maximum of 64 players for the Yu-Gi-Oh tournament and 32 for the Magic Drafts.

The Magic Drafts will be 4 flights of 8. Each player is limited to one (1) draft per day.
