At 8:12pm on April 28, 2009, l\l l l/l said…: Mana ratio is basically how much mana u r running compared to ur spells. Most constructed (60 card) decks run around 24 mana. Divide 24 by 60 and you get 40% mana. Limited has less consistent mana and more expensive spells on the mana curve so unless ur going mono, 17 mana sources (42.5%) is the norm.

9/7/7: I ran Jund (red/green/black) so I had 9 red sources (main color) and 7 green/7 black (secondary colors.)

NP, it's a nice change to c a new player ask Qs instead of whining about bad luck all the time. u seem to want to improve and i like that. hope u continue to find success in magic!
